Sometimes it's just me and all my bottles all alone, I ain't coming back this time.

Summer's here, heavy air, loud and alive
the days are rare
the most thoughtful eyes will never find
the corner where the quiet lies

Two roughins in a field, I'll take you back to where I've fallen down

                                                                       Talyllyn Lake

I’ve been having those days. You know.. where you wake up at around 5 in the evening and you smoke a joint out the window and see the clouds. They look boring. Then eat a piece of stale bread and jam and have important conversations with your cat about how the andrex puppy in the adverts looks like it would be a prick.

My bank card has had about 17p in it for months now so I’ve labeled it obsolete and stuck it on my wall next to a newspaper cutout hailing the Strokes’ new album as ‘legendary’.
The fridge is empty except for some wine and three free range eggs. Free range is good; for the chickens at least. I decide that this would be an excellent time to have some scrambled eggs, and when I turn on the tv it’s a critic talking about the state of music in 2011 and how the genre of rock is creatively and commercially moribund. I go back to bed after this and sleep until the morning and go to work, like a normal person. Safe in your bed tonight, reading Kerouac by candle light. Remember the sound of water coming out of my ears as I climbed as I climbed into life.

Jet Morrissey: A strange and wonderful creature

I know a girl called Jet.
She eats pickles in empty baths and sits on the roof in thunderstorms.
Jet likes to be naked, and she likes dream catchers.
She tells her therapist to go fuck herself and buys Ukuleles and steals DVDs from ex-boyfriends.
Jet never ceases to amaze me with her creativity, her beauty, her wonderful naivety and her bizarre ways.
If i were a musician i would write songs about Jet. When i am a photographer i shall take pictures of Jet, and when i am a director i will make a movie, about a girl on LSD, staring Jet.
I am constantly discovering new and even more wonderful things about Jet. She's like no one else in the world.
I had her but for a short time, and i wish i'd realised then how spectacular she is, i didn't know how good i had it, with my darling Jet.
I wasn't always good to her, i didn't always treat her like i should have. And even when she wasn't good to me, it wasn't because she meant to...she always meant the best.
I could be mean and nasty, and i'm so sorry now.
But i'll have her again soon.
Soon we'll be living in a bath tub, rolling in Cheerios, and i'll treat my dearest Jet the way i should do.
If i never have anything else again, i pray that i'll always have Jet, and i'll pray that she'll see one day in herself, all the things i see in her.
Looking back now, from a much lonelier place, i can't believe how good we had it, Jet. We had eachother, and we didn't need anything else. We were amazing.

"These violent delights have violent ends
and in their triumph die
Like fire and powder
 which as they kiss
consume."

Don't worry, Jet. We'll be together again soon. And this time nothing will part us, i promise.
With all my glitter-covered love,
Bryn.

Ahoy

so, i've been having one of those days where i turn into a complete misanthrope. you know, where all you do is watch documentaries on strawberry farms in Oxnard, organise the fridge into two categories yum and yuck and finally in the midst of your stupor, buy a ukulele of course!
yes, i bought one, and only about 14.99. quite a bargin for a half decent one too. i've also been indulging in hundreds of youtube tutorials trying to learn songs by beirut and local natives. im getting the hang of it! plus with my abnormally small hands the ukulele makes a nice alternative to the guitar for me.. going to eat
while being here in the middle east with all the heat in my dad's house is great i've been missing (yes... MISSING) good old wales, and living in the valley. my friend H and i have a diabolical plan inspired by two people in ireland where we'll cut up some pubes and sell it to year 7&8s who are desperate and foolish. enterprising no?

oh my god. who is god, even? well i found him in the form of an ethnic hipster youtube vlogger KASSEM G. check him out here. his best videos are probably the California On series where he and his camera crew walk along Venic Beach and ask the population about various controvertial topics such as marijuana legaliasation, sexting, religion and the like. its a bit of a laugh to see.
here's CALIFORNIA ON ENGLAND

SIDEKICK 4 GIRLS

I've been away for this easter break at my lovely old home Bahrain, a little island under the sun. We've had a bit of political trouble here over the past few months but thankfuly its all peace and love here again.
here's Bahrain:

I've catching up with old friends, and have met a load of cool new people who came to bahrain after i left and some of them have some cool stories to tell about donkeys in greece and getting their nose peirced by a prozzie in india!  A trip to bahrain is not complete without hitting up the oh so infamous Wranglers, full of $leazy bastards and pumpin' beats it's the best place to
1. get absolutetly destroyed
2. get perved on my old grenades
or 3. dance till dawn
plus its in walking distance on the beach!
